This installation gives you the option of installing the following:

• Modem scripts for your modem PC Card
• WorldPort Country Select Software (available in American English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and European Spanish)
• This electronic Modem User Guide

To install from the CD, follow these steps:

1. Double click the Installer icon. The README file will appear.
2. Click Continue.
3. Click Install. After the files are copied, a window appears telling you your modem is successfully installed.
4. You may need to restart your computer at this time. The installer loads software that suggests you restart your computer if certain components have never been installed before. Click Restart or Quit.

The software associated with your modem is now installed on your Macintosh.

You must use a communications software package (see Communications Software) to send and receive data and faxes.
