Link Information

Click the Link Information tab to display the quality of the wireless connection.

The link information includes a picture showing a computer and a wireless device if the Wireless PCI Adapter is set to Infrastructure. The picture shows two computers if the Wireless PCI Adapter is set to Ad-Hoc.

A picture like this indicates that the PCI adapter is connected to the wireless network device.
A picture like this  indicates that the PCI adapter is not connected to the wireless network device.

The Network Name shows the SSID (Network Name) of the wireless network that the Wireless PCI Adapter is connected to. The Base Station Name ID is the MAC address of the wireless router or access point that the Wireless PCI Adapter is connected to. The Channel is the radio channel that the Wireless PCI Adapter is using to communicate with the network. The Current Connection Speed is the speed at which the Wireless PCI Adapter is communicating with the network. The Signal Strength bar indicates how well the Wireless PCI Adapter is communicating with the wireless network. A larger percentage indicates a better connection.
