The Web User Interface can be used to change the settings of the Wireless MAXg Router. In this section of the User Guide you can read about the different configuration options, including setting up your WAN connection, setting up the security options, modifying the administrative tools, etc.
Open an Internet browser and enter the Wireless MAXg Router's IP address. The following is the default IP address of the Wireless MAXg Router:
Note: If you have changed the address of the Wireless MAXg Router, enter it instead of the default.
You will not be prompted to login the first time you connect to the Web User Interface during the initial setup. During the Setup Wizard procedure, you will be prompted to create a user name and password to log on to the router. If you create a user name and password, you will need to use these whenever you want to log on to the Wireless MAXg Router. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
There are eight main pages for the Web User Interface of the Wireless MAXg Router: Status, Log, Internet, Security, Firewall, Wireless, LAN, and Device. Each of these pages has a section within this User Guide describing the detailed settings and features. Refer to these sections for helpful information and configuration instructions.
