Configuration Tools

Configuration tools help you manage your configuration settings so that if you need to restore your router to its factory settings, you can do so and without having to reapply your network settings one at a time. With these configuration tools, you can reapply your network settings in a single operation.

Backup Wireless Router Configuration

  1. Select Backup router configuration and click Next.
  2. The following window appears:

  3. Click Save.
  4. Browse to the location at which you want the backup file saved and click Save.

Restore from Saved Configuration File

  1. Select Restore from saved Configuration file and click Next.
  2. Click Browse and select the folder that contains the saved configuration file.
  3. On the router's Restore page, click APPLY.

The router may disconnect and reconnect during the restoration process. A progress bar at the bottom of the Restore page shows the progress. When the restoration is complete, the router redisplays the login page.

Restore Wireless Router to Factory Defaults

  1. Select Restore Wireless Router to Factory Defaults and click Next.
  2. The router displays the following prompt:

  3. Click APPLY.
  4. The router displays a warning:

  5. Click OK .
  6. The router may disconnect and reconnect during the restoration process. A progress bar at the bottom of the Restore page shows the progress.

    When the restoration is complete, the router redisplays the login page. The default password is admin.
