Remote Management

By default, access to the Wireless Router's Web User Interface is only available to users on your local network. However, you can also manage the router from a remote host by entering the host's IP address on the Remote Management page.

Note: If you enable Remote Management and do not change the IP address from the default "0.0.0.0", any remote host will be able to access and manage the Wireless Router.

1. Select Enabled.
2. Enter the IP address of the Host Address.

   For remote management from a WAN IP address, you need to connect using port 8080. Enter the WAN IP address followed by ":8080," for example: 123.456.78.9:8080

3. Click Save Settings.
