I am no longer able to access the Internet through the Wireless Router.

Solution 1:

Make sure that the power cord and all Ethernet cables are all connected correctly.

Solution 2:

Make sure that your computer is using an IP address that is within the default range of 192.168.2.xxx. Make sure the address of the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. The Default Gateway should be the IP address of the Wireless Router, which is 192.168.2.1. To verify all of these settings, perform the following steps:

Windows ME, 98, or 95 Users

  1. Click Windows Start and then Run.
  2. Type winipcfg and click OK.
  3. Check the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS server data to make sure they are correct.
  4. If the information is not correct:
    1. Click Release All.
    2. Click Renew All.

Windows XP, 2000, or NT Users

  1. Click Windows Start and then Run.
  2. Type cmd and click OK .
  3. At the DOS prompt, type ipconfig /all.
  4. Check the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS server data to make sure they are correct.
  5. If the information is not correct:
    1. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
    2. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
