Uninstallation Instructions

To remove your USRobotics 56K Faxmodem USB, follow these steps.

Step 1: Uninstall the modem drivers using Control Panel.

Windows 98SE users

  1. Click Windows Start, Settings, and Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Select USRobotics 56K Faxmodem USB and click Add/Remove.

Windows Me users

  1. Click Windows Start, Settings, and Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Select USRobotics USB Modem Enumerator and click Add/Remove.

Windows 2000 users

  1. Click Windows Start, Settings, and Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Select USRobotics 56K Faxmodem USB and click Change/Remove.

Windows XP

  1. Click Windows Start and then Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select USRobotics 56K Faxmodem USB and click Change/Remove.

Step 2: Physically disconnect the modem from the computer. Disconnect the USB A to B cable from the modem and the computer. Your modem will now be uninstalled.
