PPPoE WAN Setup
- LAN IP Address—the router's IP address. The default address is 192.168.123.254.
Although not recommended, you can change the router's IP address to fit your needs.
If you do, write down the new address. If you forget the new address,
you will have to reset the router in order to use the Web User Interface,
and you will lose all your configuration settings.
- WAN Type—the type of connection between your router and your ISP.
- PPPoE Account and Password—the account and password that your ISP assigned to you. For security,
the password appears blank.
- Primary DNS and Secondary DNS—the addresses assigned by your ISP.
- Maximum Idle Time—the length of time that your connection can be idle before the router automatically disconnects your PPPoE session.
To disable this feature, set the time to 0 (zero) or enable Auto-reconnect.
- Auto-Reconnect—If this check box is selected, the router connects to your ISP automatically after your computer is restarted or your connection is dropped.
- PPPoE Service Name—the name assigned by your ISP.
- Assigned IP Address—your static IP address, if your ISP assigns one to you.
