Enter the Current Password and New Password for your router, then Re-enter new password to confirm the password. Click NEXT.
By default, there is no password for the router. If you have changed the password for the router, you will need to enter your current password.
Select Enable to turn on the wireless function of your router. Select the Wireless Mode, Security Type and Channel for your wireless network. Click NEXT.
If you selected a Security Type in the previous step, the security options will display.
Note: All wireless clients that will connect to the Wireless ADSL2+ Router must be set to use the same security method and passphrase/key.
If you selected WPA, do one of the following:
Select Pass phrase and enter an alphanumeric string, up to 32 characters long, then click NEXT. Write this down to enter on your wireless devices that will use the router.
Select Key and enter a 64-digit hexadecimal string, then click NEXT. Write this key down to enter on your wireless devices that will use the router.
If you selected WEP:
Enter your Pass phrase.
Click Generate Key.
The hexadecimal key that matches the displays. Write this key down to enter on your wireless devices that will use the router.
Click NEXT.
Use the Country list to select your country. It may take several seconds for the Internet Service Provider drop-down list to load.
Use the Internet Service Provider list to select your ISP. Click NEXT. If you are unsure about any connection information required by the wizard, contact your ISP.
Note: If your country or ISP is not listed, select Others
and follow the on-screen instructions to enter the appropriate connection information you ISP, then click NEXT.
Review all of the information.
If it is correct, click NEXT to finish your setup and save your new settings.
If any of the information is not correct, click BACK to get to the appropriate screen, modify the information, then continue the Setup Wizard.
