Configuration Tools

Using the configuration tools, you can backup your router configuration, restore your configuration from a saved file, or restore the router to the factory default settings.

Backup Your Router Configuration

  1. Select Backup router configuration and click Next.
  2. A window appears. Click Save.

  3. Browse to the location at which you want the backup file saved and click Save.

Restore Your Router Configuration

  1. Select Restore from saved configuration file and click Next.
  2. Click Browse and select the folder of the saved configuration file.

  3. In the Web User Interface, click APPLY.

    The router may disconnect and reconnect during the restore. A progress bar at the bottom of the web browser shows the progress. Do not unplug the power adapter from the router during this process.

    When complete, the WUI will return to the login page.

Restore to Factory Defaults

  1. Select Restore router to factory defaults and click Next.
  2. A warning window appears. Click OK.

    When complete, the WUI will return to the login page.

Note: You can also press the Reset button on the rear panel of the Wireless ADSL2+ Router for 5 seconds to restore to the factory default settings.
