Wireless Access Control

The MAC Filtering feature of the Wireless ADSL2+ Router allows you to control access to your network for up to 32 clients based on the MAC (Media Access Control) address of the client machine. This ID is unique to each network adapter. If the MAC address is listed in the table, then the access right of the client machine is controlled by the Access Rule.

To add the MAC address of each client that can use the network:

  1. Enter the MAC address of each computer or other device manually.

    OR

    Click Add currently associated MAC stations to add the MAC addresses of the wireless clients currently connected to the network.
