If 802.1x is used in your network, then you should enable this function for the Wireless ADSL2+ Router. These parameters are used for the Wireless ADSL2+ Router to connect to the authentication server.
802.1X
Authentication: Enable or disable this authentication function.
Session Idle timeout: Defines a maximum period of time, in seconds, for which the connection is maintained during inactivity.
Re-Authentication Period: Defines a maximum period of time, in seconds, for which the authentication server will dynamically re-assign a session key to a connected client.
Quiet Period: Defines a maximum period of time, in seconds, for which the Wireless ADSL2+ Router will wait between failed authentications.
Server Type: The default is a RADIUS authentication server.
RADIUS Server Parameters
Server IP: The IP address of your RADIUS authentication server.
Server Port: The port used for the authentication service.
Secret Key: The secret key shared between the authentication server and its clients.
NAS ID: The request identifier of the Network Access Server (NAS).
