The USRobotics ADSL2+ Ethernet/USB Modem/Router delivers the performance and flexibility you need to optimize your ADSL experience, at home or at the office. Featuring the latest ADSL technology, for speeds up to 24 Mbps (available only via Ethernet port), and a full-featured firewall for network security, it provides fast and secure Internet connectivity. It also provides you the ability to connect your computer using Ethernet or USB ports for maximum flexibility.

ADSL line installed by your Internet Service Provider
For USB Installation: Windows Vista™, Windows® XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me, or Windows 98SE
A computer with an Ethernet or USB internet connection with Ethernet interface or adapter
An HTML 4.01-compliant Web Browser (such as Internet Explorer 5.5 or later or Netscape 8.0 or later) with JavaScript enabled

ADSL	Connects your router to your ADSL line.
LAN	Connects your router to a computer via a wired connection.
USB	Connects your router to a computer via a USB connection.
Reset	Reboots your router or restores your router to the factory default settings. To reboot your router without changing your current settings, press and hold the Reset button for 1 full second. To restore your router to the factory default settings, press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds.
9VDC	Connects the power adapter to your router.

Default Values

Use the default values for the router if you did not change them during installation, or if you have restored the factory default settings. The ADSL2+ Ethernet/USB Modem/Router has the following default values:

IP Address: 192.168.1.1
User name: admin
Password: admin

Note: If you complete the installation steps in this guide, you will change the default password of the router.
