This page shows, among other things, the router's data transmission and receipt speeds and your ISP's router address. It also contains information on the router's domain name system (DNS) server, which maps URL's such as www.usr.com to four-number IP addresses. You may use this page to confirm your network settings and the router’s firmware version before upgrading.
After you log in to the router, the general status page appears. You can use the Status menu to access additional status information and statistics for your router.
Name: Displays the name of the router.
Time: Displays the current date and time settings for your router. To set the time for your router, select the Time from the Device menu.
Version: Shows the current firmware version on your router.
Line rate - upstream: The rate at which your router is sending data.
Line rate - downstream:The rate at which your router is receiving data.
LAN IP address: Displays the IP address your router uses on the LAN.
WAN IP address: Displays the IP address the router is using to connect to the Internet.
Default Gateway: Displays the gateway that your Internet connection is using.
Primary DNS server: Lists the IP address of the first DNS server that is being used on your network.
Secondary DNS server: Lists the IP address of the second DNS server that is being used on your network.
Return to the Status menu options.
