Using Toll Bypass, you can route calls to use the Skype network to make low cost international calls with Skype, or local calls from the telephone line connected to the USB Telephone adapter. Toll bypass is similar to call forwarding, except the incoming caller hears a beep, enters a password and then dials out an arbitrary number instead of fixed call forwarding.
Note: If your computer goes into Standby or Hibernation mode, toll bypass will not work. Verify that Disable standby/hibernate is selected in your Toll Bypass configuration.
Incoming Internet Call (Skype to PSTN) Toll Bypass
You can use Skype to access the telephone adapter to make calls that are local calls from the physical location of the telephone adapter.
The USB Telephone adapter will dial and connect you to the telephone number.
Note: If the telephone adapter is connected to a compatible analogue Private Branch Exchange (PBX), you can dial numbers within the PBX.
Also, if the telephone adapter is connected to a PBX, you need to dial telephone numbers as you would dial them from within the PBX. For example, 9 1 555 555 6789 *
To end the call, hang up the handset.
Incoming PSTN Call (PSTN to Skype) Toll Bypass
Using Incoming PSTN Call (PSTN to Skype) Toll Bypass, you can access your Skype services even when you're away from home to make Skype or SkypeOut calls, such as low cost international calls.
