The image quality is poor.

Solution:

The camera may be out of focus. Rotate the lens to change the focus. Depending on how quickly the image is refreshing, you may need to turn the lens, wait a few seconds, and repeat until the image is clear.

Solution:

The subject may appear dark if there is a bright light source in the background. Turn off lamps or close shades that are behind the subject.

Solution:

Changes may have been made in the Video Device Properties window Settings tab. Click the Default button to restore the factory settings.

Solution:

Clean the lens.
