When I receive a call, I don't hear it ring.

Solution:

Make sure that the option to ring the PC speaker is selected.

If you are using different sound cards for your headset and your speakers, go to the sound devices option in Skype and make sure that the correct sound card is selected for Ringing.

Solution:

With laptop computers, the option to ring the PC speaker may have no effect while your headset is plugged in. If you need to hear incoming calls ring when you are away from your computer, unplug the headset from the green jack.
