Changing the Channel on your USR5453 or USR5453A.

To change the channel that your 5453 transmits on please follow these simple steps. It is advisable to perform the change whilst connected to the device via an ethernet cable.

  1. Discover the 5453 using Kick Start on your installation CD or type http://192.168.2.1 into your web browser address line to log into the 5453. (If you have changed the default IP address, please enter your own)
  2. Enter your user name and password.
  3. Once logged in, expand the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Wireless Settings sub section you can alter the channel number using the drop down menu labelled Channel.
  5. Press Update

The Wireless Channel has now been changed.
