Caller ID isn't workingCaller ID or Calling Identification is a system that allows a telephone line to receive the phone number of a calling person or modem. Type 1 Caller ID provides caller information while the call is ringing on an open line. Type 2 Caller ID provides the calling number while the phone line is already in use, such as when you are using your modem to go online. This type of Caller ID is also known as Caller ID for Call Waiting. This modem supports Caller ID for Call Waiting only, caller information will be provided only when the modem is in use. |
