Changing the SSID on your USR9114.

The SSID (Service Set Identifier) is the Wireless Network Name that your 9114 transmits into the air and it is recommended that you change it from the default. It is also advisable to perform the change whilst connected to the device via an ethernet cable.

  1. Type http://192.168.1.1 into your web browser address line to log into the 9114. (If you have changed the default IP address, please enter your own)
  2. Enter your user name and password.
  3. Once logged in, select the Wireless tab followed by Setup.
  4. Change the Network Name to a SSID of your choice.
  5. Press Apply

The SSID (Wireless Network Name) has now been changed.
