Schedule Rule

The Schedule Rule screen gives you control over the time frames during which access control filters are used. For example, you can set up a schedule rule timeframe that runs from 12:00 A.M. on Saturday through 12:00 A.M. on Monday and your access control will be effective only during weekend hours; at all other times, access control will be off.

  1. Click Add Schedule Rule.

    2. The router displays the Edit Schedule Rule page.

  2. Type a name and a comment, or description, for the rule.
  3. Use the 24-hour clock to specify the Start Time and End Time for each day that you want the schedule rule to take effect. For example, to specify 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the start time is 09:00 and the end time is 17:00.
  4. Click OK.

    5. The router re-displays the Schedule Rule page.

  5. Repeat steps 1—4 to define up to ten schedule rules.
  6. Click Save Settings.
