The Wireless Router can transmit your data securely over a wireless network. Matching security mechanisms must be set up on your router and your wireless client devices.
Select the kind of security that you want to use:
No WEP/No WPA/WPA2—Disables all wireless security. By default, wireless security is disabled to
make it easier to set up your wireless network. When you select and save this setting, the router displays the wireless Access Control page where you can manually set security based on the MAC addresses of client devices.
WEP Only—A legacy security standard. This is the minimum recommended security to use after initial setup.
When you select and save this setting, the router displays the WEP page where you must specify additional security settings.
WPA/WPA2 Only—Provides maximum security on your wireless network.
When you select and save this setting, the router displays the WPA/WPA2 page where you must specify additional security settings.
