This page shows, among other things, the gateway's data transmission and receipt speeds and your ISP's gateway address. It also contains information on the gateway's domain name system (DNS) server, which maps URLs such as www.usr.com to four-number IP addresses. You may use this page to confirm your wireless network settings and the gateway’s firmware version before upgrading.
After you log in to the gateway, the general status page appears. You can use the Status menu to access additional status information and statistics for your gateway.
Name: Displays the name of the gateway.
Version: Shows the current firmware version on your gateway.
Printer status: Displays the status of the printer connected to the gateway.
Printer location: Displays the URL to use for a printer that is connected to the USB port of the gateway when you are connecting other computers to the printer.

LAN IP address: Displays the IP address your gateway uses on the LAN.
WAN IP address: Displays the IP address the gateway is using to connect to the Internet.
Default Gateway: Displays the Gateway that your Internet connection is using.
Primary DNS server: Lists the IP address of the first DNS server that is being used on your network.
Secondary DNS server: Lists the IP address of the second DNS server that is being used on your network.
This displays information on your wireless network settings, including the following:
Network name: Displays the Network name of the gateway that is broadcast for wireless connections. This can be configured from the Wireless page.
Broadcast name: Displays the whether the broadcasting of the network name is Enabled or Disabled. This can be configured from the Wireless page.
Method: The security method and security settings Encryption, Pass phrase, Key, etc.) for your gateway. This information can be configured from the Security page.
Wireless MAC filter: Displays whether the wireless MAC Filter is Enabled or Disabled on your network. This information can be configured from the Security page.
