You can remove the U.S.
Robotics SureConnect ADSL USB Modem software drivers by performing the following
steps.
- Click Windows
Start, select Settings and click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove
Programs icon.
- On the Install/Uninstall
tab, select the USRobotics SureConnect ADSL Modem. You may
have to scroll down to locate this program. Click the Remove
button.
- The Modify, Reinstall
or Uninstall screen will display. Click Uninstall and select
Yes if asked to confirm the uninstall.
All components will
then be uninstalled from the computer.
Microsoft Windows 98 and Me
You can remove the USRobotics SureConnect ADSL USB Modem software
drivers by performing the following steps.
- Click Start, select Settings, and click
Control Panel.
- From the Control Panel, double-click
Add/Remove Programs.
- The Add/Remove Programs screen
will display all the programs you currently have installed. Locate and
select the U.S.
Robotics SureConnect ADSL Modem.
- Click the Add/Remove
button.
- The Modify, Reinstall or Uninstall
screen will display. Click the Uninstall button.
- You will then be asked to confirm that you would like
to uninstall the modem completely, click Yes. Setup will
remove the modem drivers. This may take a few minutes.
- The Uninstall Complete screen
will display, click Finish.
- Unplug the cables from the modem.
Microsoft NT 4.0
- Click the Start
button and select Settings, then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the
Add/ Remove Program icon.
- The Add/Remove
Programs screen will display all the programs you currently have installed.
Locate and select the USRobotics SureConnect ADSL Modem. You
may have to scroll down to locate this program.
- Click the Add/Remove
button.
- The Modify, Reinstall
or Uninstall screen will display. Click the Uninstall option
and then click Next.
All components will
then be uninstalled from the computer.
Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP
- Click Start, select Settings and click
Control Panel.
- When the Control Panel displays,
double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- The Add/Remove Programs window
will display, select U.S.
Robotics SureConnect ADSL Modem.
- Click the Change/Remove
button.
- Select the Remove all installed
components option and click Next.
- You will then be asked to confirm that you would like
to uninstall the modem completely, click Yes. Setup will
remove the modem drivers. This may take a few minutes.
- The Maintenance Complete screen
will display, click Finish.
- Unplug the cables from the modem
and click the OK button.
This process will also uninstall the USRobotics SureConnect
ADSL utility.
Linux and Macintosh
Unplug all cables from
the computer and the modem.
