Security Settings
The Security menu lets you
configure and change the security settings for the gateway, including your wireless security settings, MAC address filtering options, and login information.
To get to the Security menu, you need to connect to the gateway configuration pages .
Wireless : Your wireless security settings including the security method, encryption type, and Network Name and pass phrase.
MAC Filter : Your MAC filtering settings.
Device Login : The login and passwords for your wireless gateway.
Internet Access Control : Set rules for when client computers can access the internet.
IP Filtering - Outbound : Allows you to set filters to block internal users or applications from accessing the Internet.
IP Filtering - Inbound : Allows you to direct incoming packets to intended destinations by specifying rules for unblocking certain incoming packets.
Virtual Servers : Allows you to direct incoming Internet traffic to an internal server with a private IP address on the LAN.
Port Triggering : Allows you to create a dynamic or temporary hole in the firewall for a single session.
DMZ : DMZ stands for Demilitarised Zone. This feature allows an IP address to be
exposed to the Internet.
